California Sea Lions Page

I just love the expression on this Sea Lion's face.  :) I thought they would all look the same, but when you see a bunch of them together you notice they are actually quite different! I thought this one looked rather jolly and layed back, but considering the fact he was actually one of the most alert in the group this may not be quite true.

Impressive male Elk

Did anyone notice there are actually TWO Elk here?  I thought this picture seemed a little odd but only just noticed there are two Elk, one just behind the other and they both have large antlers.

California Sea Lions

We were able to get to within 10 feet of these Sea Lions. What a sight!

                            

Roosevelt Elk

These Elk were grazing right along the road. Although watchful, they allowed me to get quite close with my camera.

We drove through a foot of water while searching for Elk and in the end it payed off; we found a large herd! There must have been at least 50 of them!
