New Page
To make this blog easier to view I have moved the movies that were at the bottom of the Home Page to a separate Page called "Movies."
This way when you are viewing from your iPhone it will be easier on your bandwidth. :)
If you look to the upper right side of the blog you now see two headings, "Home," and "Movies".
I hope this helps!

Retouching Portraits
I'm following an advanced portrait retouching course and here are the results of the first lesson. It literally took several hours to retouch this portrait and it is all done on seperate layers. The Photoshop tools that are used are the clone tool, the healing brushes and the selection tools. I am amazed at the results, which are actually far better than when using expensive retouching programs. What I really like is that the texture of the skin is preserved, preventing the "plastic" look which is frequently the result of other methods.

iPad Photos
The journaling on the page reads:
So I have this new gadget...the iPad 2, and with the iPad comes apps. I think I just fell in love with the Instagram one. Not so much because of it’s online sharing capabilities, but because of the build-in filter application. All you do is take a picture with the iPad and apply a filter. Sync to your computer and drag the pictures into Photoshop. Once there you can use them anyway you like. Ironic isn’t it? We spend a lot of money to get a camera that makes tack sharp photo’s and then we start running around taking photos with our iPhones and iPads. Go figure...
